Bryan Bouffier has won Rally Rzeszow for a fifth time to make it five winners from five FIA European Rally Championship events in 2017.

Co-driven by Gilbert Dini in a Gemini Clinic Rally Team Ford Fiesta R5, Bouffier beat home hero Kajetan Kajetanowicz into second place with Marijan Griebel winning ERC Junior Under 28 in third overall. Kajetanowic now leads the ERC standings ahead of Bruno Magalhães.

“It’s great,” said Bouffier. “This rally has always been important to me because it was my first rally in Poland a long, long time ago. When you look at the level of ERC it’s nice to be on a good pace, especially after Canarias, which was no good for me. Back to winning means I am very happy and we will have a good party tonight.”
