European Rally Championship again in Rzeszow!

Last year's jubilee edition of the Rzeszów Rally debuted at the European Rally Championship. It was successful round, so this year Rzeszów will again host best rally drivers in Europe. Their arrival announced Mads Ostberg, former WRC driver or Nasser Al-Attiyah, winner of the 2015 Dakar Rally.

Emotions will also surely stir up the fight of the current European Champion Kajetan Kajetanowicz with a native of Rzeszow, the Polish Champion, Grzegorz Grzyb.

The event organized by the Automobilklub Rzeszowski takes place on 3-5 August 2017. In addition to the ERC drivers, fans will also be able to watch the top Polish drivers fighting for points in the Inter Cars Polish Rally Championship. This year, for the first time, Junior ERC riders will also come to Rzeszów.

For the competitors awaits 11 demanding, asphalt special stages with a total length of more than 213 kilometers, divided into two legs. Drivers will again face the steep and Winding carpathian roads.

Residents of Rzeszow, like the year before, will be able to admire the spectacular media stage, which will be held on Friday evening in the city center. The capital of Podkarpackie will also be the rally base as well as the Service Park, which will return to the campus of the Rzeszów University of Technology.

Rally emotions will start at Millenium Hall during the start ceremony, August 3 at 18:00. Finish ceremony and awards will be held two days later at the Market in Rzeszow.

Entries for competitors start on June 12th. Last year, the start list reached a record of 90 crews.
