Regular FIA European Rally Championship competitor Tomasz Kasperczyk is showing great form at his home event Rally Rzeszow, climbing to fifth overall during the morning loop.

The Tiger Energy Drink Rally Team driver spun on the first stage of the morning, but was fifth quickest on SS3 Lubenia and then sixth on SS4 Chmielnik. That’s moved him up to fifth overall, as Wojciech Chuchała lost three places with a difficult stage in his Subaru. Kasperczyk is only 5.3s behind fourth-placed Jakub Brzeziński.

Bryan Bouffier won the stage, going 4.1 seconds quicker than Kajetan Kajetanowicz to increase his lead to 7.3s heading to mid-day service.
